Person calls and hangs up except today the person on the other end wanted to speak to the owner or manager of the company. I asked who are you calling? She said she didn't know. I said you better find out cause you are reaching a private residence and I am tired of your calls. She hung up. I, too, am on the National do not call list! Make tellemarketers go away. If I wan their business, I will contact them.!

I just got yet another call from this number. Identifies himself (too fast) as from Map something. Always asks to speak to the owner or manager of the business, which I say I am. The caller - always a guy with an almost undecipherable accent - Indian or some such - starts telling me about the great offer for online advertising and a website. I interrupt to explain that I already have a website, managed and maintained by my brother who has his own business doing that (true!). They then start to explain 'oh, but you don't have' this or that. By this time I'm getting annoyed and have to raise my voice to be heard telling them that I'm not interested, and please put me on their Do Not Call list. In any legitimate business that is the cue to shut up, possibly apologize, and say goodbye. Not to these assholes! They try to talk over me, insisting that I need to listen. No, I don't, so I yell once more about the do not call list and hang up. It pisses me off, since I am already in the national Do Not Call directory.
